I've been excited by the underwater world for as long as I can remember. Aged five my dad taught me how to snorkel on a trip to the Mediterranean. I remember spotting small lionfish, anemones and sea urchins.

Fast forward 25 years, I borrow my girlfriend's underwater camera and shoot my first few rolls of film. Nervous excitement when I finally got the films developed a few days after the trip, I was hooked.

Now, 15 years and hundreds of dives later, I feel it's time to share my images with the rest of the world. Our oceans are polluted and over-fished, healthy reef systems are disappearing fast. If we don't act now to protect our oceans and reefs, images will be all we have left.....
